Reverse Death
Editorial Standards & Methodology
Reverse Death is an independent investigative outlet covering cryptocurrency fraud, on-chain forensics, and digital-asset security. This page documents how our work is produced, verified, sourced, and corrected — so readers can judge our reliability for themselves.
1. Mission & Scope
We exist to expose financial deception in the digital-asset space and to help ordinary users avoid it. Our coverage spans documented fraud cases (exchange collapses, Ponzi schemes, rug pulls) and practical security education through our Academy. We publish in English and Arabic, with a particular focus on the MENA region.
2. Who Produces Our Content
Our investigations and guides are produced by the Reverse Death Editorial Desk — a team with combined backgrounds in on-chain analysis, financial-markets research, and journalism. Every published piece passes human editorial review before it goes live. Named analyst contributors who publish guest dossiers are vetted through our Verified Analyst Network and attributed individually.
3. How We Investigate
Case reporting is built on the public record: court filings and indictments, regulator actions (e.g. SEC, DOJ, FCA and equivalents), bankruptcy disclosures, and immutable on-chain evidence such as transaction hashes, contract code, and wallet flows traced on public block explorers. We prioritise primary documents over secondary commentary and distinguish clearly between established fact, allegation, and analysis.
4. Sourcing & Verification Standards
Claims of wrongdoing are attributed to their source (a regulator, a court, an on-chain record, or named reporting). Where a matter is alleged but not adjudicated, we say so. Each investigation links to the primary sources we relied on, and our security guides cite the authorities and tools they reference so readers can verify independently.
5. Use of AI & Technology
We use software tools — including AI-assisted drafting and translation — to help research, structure, and translate material efficiently across English and Arabic. AI is a drafting aid, not the author of record: all content is directed, fact-checked, and edited by humans who are accountable for accuracy. We do not publish unreviewed machine output, and we disclose this openly because transparency is part of trust.
6. Corrections & Updates
We correct errors promptly. If you spot an inaccuracy, email investigations@reversedeath.com or use our Report a Scam / Contact channels; substantive corrections are noted on the affected page and the 'last updated' date is revised. Security guidance is reviewed periodically because attacker techniques evolve.
7. Independence & Funding
Our published investigations and Academy guides are free and are not for sale; coverage is never determined by payment. Commissioned services (press-release drafting and syndication) are clearly separated from our independent editorial reporting and never influence the conclusions of an investigation. We accept advertising, which is labelled and kept separate from editorial content.
8. Contact & Tips
Tips, evidence, corrections, and press enquiries: investigations@reversedeath.com. Strong, verifiable on-chain leads are prioritised. We protect the confidentiality of sources where appropriate and never charge victims 'recovery fees' — anyone who does is running a second scam.
